Iggle Piggle - Aussie 2

Iggle Piggle completes his Aussie adventure

Sydney - the coat hanger and the not so white opera house....

Iggle Piggle enjoyed the train ride into the Blue Mountains..this is the 3 sisters, it was lots of step down past them...

but when we reached the other side there was a steep train ride back up, Iggle Piggle had to hold on so he didn't fall out!

Leaving Adelaide, the first night was in a old jail...can you spot Iggle Piggle checking out the surroundings?

Iggle Piggle loved Mitch, he took us everywhere...to the beautiful coastline of Cape Bridgewater...

..and to McKenzie falls up in the Grampian Mountains. Can you spot Iggle Piggle trying to stay dry?

Iggle Piggle really liked the Great Ocean Road...

..he made friends with the people who made the road, can you spot him?

...and loved the views...

He especially liked the 12 Apostles..although he could only count 7
Next stop was Tassie...Iggle Piggle loved the nature park as he got to feed the kangaroos, they were very fast hopping towards him...

He watched the tassie devils gnawing on meat and bones (it made him a bit nervous...)

but after their feed they fell fast asleep and He was much happier

Iggle Piggle loved the view over the Tamar Valley..

..and chilling by Dove Lake under cradle mountain
Iggle Piggle helped the captain drive the boat for the day on the Gordon River

He loved the views over the mountains and the still river

Back in Melbourne, Iggle Piggle enjoyed going to the Christmas lights especially singing along to 'Santa Claus is coming to town' in the shop window - note we're representated by a beef eater (our traditional dress?!)

Iggle Piggle posted his letter to Santa and hoped he'd find him in New Zealand (it must be confusing for Santa when we're travelling!)

Iggle Piggle enjoyed going to a carol service outdoors and especially liked 'Ranger Roo' singing before the carols began...

..He was not expecting the huge firework display at the end but it was very beautiful with lots of different colours...

..the golden rain was particularly spectacular!! What a lovely end to Iggle Piggles time in Australia!!!

Iggle Piggle's Cairns to Brisbane Adventure
Iggle Piggle didn't do much in Cairns but his trip to Magnetic Island was very exciting - he spotted 9 Koalas!! Can spot him on his way to the animal sanctuary?

This was the beach by our hostel...can you spot Iggle Piggle?

He decided to stay here while Tiff ran to the other end of the beach..it's deceptively far away!!

Next stop was the Great Barrier Reef...there wasn't a wet suit small enough for Iggle Piggle but he enjoyed watching the huge fish over the edge of the boat and seeing the pretty reef where lots of beautiful fishies lived

Iggle Piggles next trip took him to the Eungella National Park where he watched Platypus dive in the river and then went for a walk through the rainforest to go for a swim in this waterfall, it was very cold!

Next trip was over to Fraser Island, this is Lake McKenzie - Iggle Piggle loved the crystal clear waters and used the sand to have a good exfoliate!!!

When he got bored of swimming he found a shipwreck to climb...can you spot him??

Iggle Piggle then took a holiday out to the mountains to visit Tiffs godfather...he's pretty easy to spot here but can you spot the wallaby nearby?

He even made it for a swim in the dam at the bottom of Clive and Jennys land....

..and made friends with the local croc...(don't worry, he was a friendly croc!)
